OFFICE RELOCATION – GHANA AIRPORT CARGO CENTRE

After a successful completion, Handing over and commissioning of the State-of-the-art Cargo Warehouse and Office Building at the Cargo Village, Kotoka International Airport, Accra.

Air Ghana Ltd has taking the initiative to finally relocate to the multimillion dollar world leading office building for a better service to our clients. We can be located on the fourth floor of the newly built Ghana Airport Cargo Centre.

We want to inform the general public that, all operations at the previous location has been seized and henceforth, all Air Ghana operations will carried out at the New Cargo building located at the Cargo Village from the DHL entrance.

AIR GHANA ANNOUNCES THE COMMENCEMENT OF ITS FIRST B737-400 CARGO OPERATIONS FOLLOWING THE AWARD OF ITS AOC.

We are proud to announce that Air Ghana has taken delivery of B737-400F aircraft registration 9G-AGL. This first aircraft (total 5 aircraft over the next 3 years) is in DHL livery and will be exclusively dedicated to DHL scheduled services in West Africa. The first flight, 1st May 2014, operating ABJ-ACC-LOS-ACC-ABJ rotation. Air Ghana now has an AOC issued by Ghana Civil Aviation making Air Ghana a fully operational Cargo airline.

This new development represents a very important part and a major step forward in making Accra the number 1 hub in West Africa. The aircraft will be used to provide a feeder service to West, Central and Southern African countries and once fully operational will significantly increase cargo throughput at Kotoka International Airport. A fully operational integrated feeder service, a strong interline GSSA network, together with a new state of art handling facilities at GACC Ltd.

AIRCRAFT CARGO HANDLING, GACC LTD.

Ghana Airport Cargo Centre Ltd(GACC) has been designed to add much needed additional warehouse facilities at KIA Accra. This new venture, in partnership with the Ghana Airport Company Ltd, (GACL) is currently developing a new Import, Export and Transit Cargo Centre located immediately adjacent to the aircraft cargo apron which will provide full ground handling and cargo hub services for all operators serving Kotoka International Airport, Accra. This facility will position Accra as a leading cargo hub for the West & Central Africa region.
